Growing up in Culver City and with ready access to the various beaches that line the coast, I spent many summers exploring the water’s edge, including the tide pools that line the rugged Palos Verdes coast. This artwork is a plywood-based, pedestal-mounted sculpture that pays homage to that teeming microcosm, which fascinates me to this day.
